Tsavorite garnet is suitable for regular wear, but it should still be treated with care. It measures approximately 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it durable enough for many jewelry pieces while still requiring protection from strong impact, rough surfaces, and harder gemstones. We recommend removing tsavorite rings during heavy handwork, exercise, or activities involving hard surfaces.
