Our Story
Our story began in 2018 when our founding members forged strong bonds while studying at university. Through gemstone research experiments and geological field expeditions spanning their undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies, they cultivated a profound love for jewelry and a deep respect for nature. Inspired to share the beauty, magic, and power of the earth through jewelry, PETRALO was born.
PETRALO derived from the Greek words "Petra" （meaning rock） and "halo", expressing our reverence for nature world and passion for gemstones. We believe that the harmony between earth's treasures and the human spirit is what truly makes fine jewelry a work of art.
Today, our studio boasts a team of eight members, comprising experts in gemology, geology, and jewelry design. Three of our members hold diplomas from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA), while two hold diplomas from the International Gemological Institute (IGI). With a shared dedication to excellence, we are committed to establishing ourselves as a premier gemstone jewelry studio.
