Tourmaline

Tourmaline is loved for its remarkable range of natural colors, from soft pink and fresh green to bi-color and watermelon tones. Each stone can show subtle differences in shade, depth, and transparency, making tourmaline especially expressive and naturally individual.

Watermelon tourmaline is a bi-color or multi-color tourmaline that shows pink and green tones within the same stone, often resembling the colors of a watermelon. This natural color zoning makes each gemstone unique, with soft transitions and patterns that cannot be exactly repeated.

Tourmaline is suitable for regular wear, but it should still be treated with care. It measures approximately 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it durable enough for many jewelry pieces while still requiring protection from strong impact, rough surfaces, and harder gemstones.

We recommend removing tourmaline rings during heavy handwork, exercise, or activities involving hard surfaces.
